FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & SUPPORT

Answers on architecture, privacy, and storage

Everything you need to know about DryVault's zero-knowledge mathematics, local SQLite sandbox, and isolated Google Drive cloud persistence.

Data Custody & Privacy

No. DryVault is strictly zero-knowledge and offline-first. We do not operate central server databases, account registration portals, or sync brokers. All passwords, files, and notes are encrypted on your physical device using authenticated AES-256-GCM. We have zero technical ability to inspect or decrypt your data.

Google Drive Synchronization

If you enable cloud backup, DryVault connects directly from your phone to Google Drive using the isolated 'drive.appdata' scope. Your local SQLite database and files are fully encrypted into ciphertext (.enc) on your device BEFORE upload. Google receives only ciphertext blobs, and DryVault operates no servers in between.
